Clippers ready for playoffs


The Dauphin Clippers accomplished their goal of clinching second place in the Westman High School Hockey League.
With one gamesremaining, the Clippers are 21-1-0-1 for 43 points second only behind the Vincent Massey Vikings, which finished the season undefeated at 24-0.
Dauphin’s latest victories came last week when they beat the Minnedosa Chancellors, 4-1, Thursday in Minnedosa, before scoring an 8-7 shootout win over the Sandy Bay Badgers, Sunday in Ebb and Flow.
Dauphin ends the regular season tonight when they host the 2-21 Souris Sabres at 8:30 p.m.
