Reflections of a retiring regional library director

According to Jean Louis Guillas, the book is a very stable form of technology, which he does not see disappearing at any time soon.
Referring to himself as an accidental librarian, the recently retired director of Parkland Regional Library (PRL) took an opportunity to look back at his nine years in the system.
While many patrons of Dauphin Public Library may have noticed dynamic changes to activities in the library over that time, Guillas pointed out much of it was just catching up to what other libraries are doing.
“How people use the library has changed. People expect more from libraries, or more libraries think that they have more to offer, in terms of diversity of programming,” Guillas said.
