Humane society gives dogs a new lease on life in Ontario

Thanks to the efforts of the Parkland Humane Society (PHS) in Dauphin, some lucky dogs will find a new home in Ontario.
Ste. Rose resident Diane Heron spearheaded a project which saw dogs from the Parkland transfered to the Ontario SPCA, where they will be rehabilitated and adopted into new homes.
“We took quite a few of our dogs out of here that will all be rehabbed and found new homes,” said PHS co-dog director Rhonda Dreger.
“It’s such a great opportunity for them.”
