City developing asset plan

Making all the decisions necessary to make a municipality thrive can be difficult.
Deciding when and how to maintain, replace and repair critical infrastructure and services such as roads, arenas, drinking water and wastewater systems needs to take into consideration budgetary needs of the community.
Making good asset-related decisions requires good data and that is why the City of Dauphin is currently developing an asset managment plan, said director of Public Works and Operations Bill Brenner.
