No parade, but Christmas lights tour in the works

The Dauphin Christmas Parade of Lights will not take place this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Parade committee member Pam Werbiski said they were working on some alternative activities.
“But with the province going code red, it’s not likely that we will be able to do anything,” she said, adding it was a disappointing decision to make.
“It’s something that has been going on for a long time. But we just didn’t want to put the risk out there.”
Local residents can still get into the Christmas spirit this year, while staying safe.
Organizer Pam Chetyrbok posted on social media to see if there would be any interest in a tour of homes decorated with Christmas lights.

This week's Dauphin Herald has more on this story.
