Originally from northern Alberta, my husband, two sons and I moved to Dauphin 14 years ago, the first weekend of August. We took in Canada's National Ukrainian Festival that Sunday and have since been hooked on Dauphin. I have been with the Dauphin Herald since 2004 and have had the opportunity to get involved with many community groups. I have a journalism diploma from Lethbridge Community College and over two decades ago, worked for a couple of weekly newspapers and an Aboriginal radio station before family and a family business redirected my career. Dauphin is a terrific community, with many recreational and cultural activities. My job at the Dauphin Herald has given me a unique opportunity to celebrate many of them. My beats at the Herald include education and justice.
