On Oct. 13, just before 7:30 p.m, Dauphin RCMP received report of a hunting incident on Hwy. 271, near Pulp River.
When police arrived on the scene, the 16-year-old male victim was being treated for a gun shot to the face.
He was then transported to hospital in Winnipeg.

The victim was also hunting and was on the ground in the brush when he was struck by a bullet.
