Rangers pick up two points

Heading into the week’s Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League schedule Parkland Rangers head coach Brad Dupasquiere felt his team had to earn some points if they wanted to stay close in the race for playoff spot.
And in the end the Rangers managed to grab two of the six points available to them in three games on home ice.
The Rangers opened the week with a 5-2 loss to the league leading Brandon Wheat Kings, Wednesday, followed by a 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Bruins, Saturday.
Vincent Hughes and Jackson Betcher accounted for Parkland’s scoring Wednesday while Rory Campbell took the loss in net, turning aside 26 of the 30 shots he faced.
