Habitat takes on Coldest Night


The Dauphin Chapter of Habitat for Humanity is the new host for the 2020 Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) fund-raising event in Dauphin, Feb. 22.
Dauphin event co-director Rodney Juba announced Parkland Crossing ran into a volunteer shortage for the event and proposed Habitat take it over.
CNOY is a family-friendly walk which raises money for charities serving hungry, homeless and hurting people in the community.
An expected 75 walkers and 15 teams, including staff and friends of Habitat for Humanity and Parkland Crossing are expected to brave the cold winter’s night.
