New library pocket park a real gem: Moss

Dauphin Public Library wants you to sit down and take a load off at its new pocket park in front of its facility on Main Street.
Development of the park began last summer when Healthy Together Now funded the instalation of a bike repair station and continued this year thanks to a $3,200 grant from the Dauphin and District Community Foundation.
“It was aimed at the pocket park development so we were able to get two pretty nice picnic tabes and we just had those installed as soon as the parks opened in the city after this COVID business,” library director Alison Moss said, adding the development was supplemented by some gifts from the city.
