DLGC hosts Ebb and Flow scramble

Dauphin Lake Golf Club hosted its first tournament of the year, Saturday, playing host to the Ebb and Flow Four-person Scramble.
The Louis Shorting team won the championship flight on a countback over Darryl Laquette’s team. Both teams shot a 55. John North’s team was third with a 56.
In the first flight, Ray Cook’s team took first place on a countback over runner-up Elvis Nepinak’s team and third-place finisher Jordan Fourhorn’s team. They all finished with a 60.
Brian Spence’s team won the second flight on a countback, beating Nelson Leask’s team. They each finished with a 62. Third place went to Shaquille Houle’s team with a 63.
A countback was needed to decide the top three teams in the third flight, all of whom shot a 64. When all was said and done, Jay Moosetail’s team took top spot, with Team Popeye in second and Gary Houle’s team in third.
Brennan Burns’ team won the fourth flight on a countback. Jeff Edwards’ team was second and Tyrone Desjarlais’ team was third. They all finished with a 67.
