Armed robbers arrested

Police have made arrests in connection with an armed robbery in Pine River over the weekend.
On Dec. 12, at approximately 5:40 p.m., Winnipegosis RCMP and Dauphin RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at a business located on First Avenue in Pine River.
Two men wearing masks entered the business carrying a rifle and demanded money, cigarettes and liquor. The males then fled on an all-terrain vehicle.
Officers set up road blocks in the area and RCMP located the ATV on Hwy. 20 and Hwy. 272 near Camperville.
The ATV fled into a nearby field, but with the assistance of Police Dog Services, three men were arrested, hiding in the area.
The firearm and stolen items were recovered.
James Flatfoot, 33, of Dauphin has been charged with robbery with a firearm, disguised with intent to commit an offence, flight from a peace officer, weapons possession contrary to an order, possession of a firearm when unauthorized, operation of a vehicle while prohibited and three counts of failing to comply.
A 16-year-old male from Pine Creek First Nation has been charged with robbery with a firearm, disguised with intent to commit an offence, weapons possession contrary to an order, possession of a firearm when unauthorized and two counts of failing to comply.
A 20-year-old man from Pine Creek First Nation, will be facing a charge of possession of property obtained by crime.
RCMP continue to investigate.
