Food For Thought wraps up unique, successful year

Mar. 25 marked the last day of the Food For Thought Hot Lunch Program for the 2020-21 school year.
Early in the fall of 2020, we were thinking it would not be possible for the program to offer its services to Dauphin students as it had in previous years. At a meeting with MVSD and public health officials, we discovered ways that the program could continue for the upcoming winter season.
In partnership with MVSD safety department, we trained volunteers with a Work Hazard Material Information System briefing (WHMIS) making it possible for them to enter the schools to serve lunch.

This week's Dauphin Herald has more on this story.
